Hi,
There is something I would like to clarify.
Does the full development license of VeriStand include a LabVIEW RT run-time license ?
For example, If I plan to execute VeriStand on a Desktop PC turned into an RT target, do I need (as usual) to buy a run-time license for LabVIEW RT or this run-time license is already included in the VeriStand package ?
I think we have to buy a run-time license in every case, do you confirm ?
Thanks for your answer, have a nice day.

Hi DaHelmut,
There is no LabVIEW RT runtime license; there is however a LabVIEW RT module license. However, in general NI VeriStand 2012 and earlier do not license any other NI product. If you are testing your VeriStand system on a Windows host, and then make a simple change of the controller to RT, then this should work fine with your NIVS Full Development license. If you do indeed have custom devices targeting RT devices, then in such case you will need the LabVIEW RT module and therefore its license.

After speaking with the appropriate people, I can confirm that the Full Dev and Operator licenses do indeed grant a LV RT Runtime license (one per NIVS license). The PC Dev license however does not.
Pardon any confusion Da Helmut.
