Print NIVS Debug String.vi in a Model

Upon further investigation, the help files related to the RT VIs appear to be in Chinese.  I presume this may have something to do with why I can't read the titles of the sub VIs in the palette.

I tried uninstalling the RT Module, and reinstalling a version that I just downloaded today. (  LabVIEW Real-Time Module - English 2012  )

The newly downloaded version exhibits the same behavior.

Please advise.

Which version(s) of VeriStand do you have installed?

Currently working with Veristand 2012 Beta and Labview 2012

Tried all of this with the 2011 versions, and there were no problems (although there are not as many Real-Time related VIs in Labview 2011).

This is not related to NI VS, but corrupted LV Run-Time. Sometimes it happens when you didn't reboot when asked during installation. So try to repair LV Run-time.

This issue has been filed to engineering (CAR# 391066) for further investigation. At the time I do not know of a workaround.

Thanks Jarrod.  I'll keep trying to fix it on my end, and report back anything I find that might be useful.

Hello Jarrod,

Checking back to confirm the bug fix.  I downloaded and installed the Veristand 2012 F1 Patch this morning.  From what I have seen with my testing, the problem has been corrected.  All palette titles now appear in English, as well as the associated help files.

Thanks to the NI team for correcting the issue.

I can't find the RT Debug String.vi in either my Labview 2011 or Labview 2012 real-time packages.  Any body seen the same thing?

Hello Kathleen,

You may want to check to make sure your license for the RT Module is still valid.  If the license is expired, some of the VIs may not be available.
