problems with stimul profile editor

Hi:D

I have problems with stimulus profile editor. When i press "+" to hide commands of for example if function, sometimes the commands aren't hidden and the function is copied. its little bit annoying.

can i do something with it?  thank you for any help!

I get this happening sometimes too. I think I did read that it's a known bug/issue with the stimulus profile editor, unfortunately. Instead of clicking on the + to expand, I try to use the left and right arrows on the keyboard.

It happens a bit randomely and screws things around. I have a bunch of nested IF Else statements and it is very tedious to figure out which one is the copied items that has been added by the bug.

hmmm... it looks more vicious actually. Some of the code lines duplicated by the bug, once deleted, seem to also delete the original code that was copied.

Here it is:

It seems to happen with IF Then cases, but also with Do While...Likely with others too.  Below there should be only one "If MonitorDwel_ms" case. When I want to collapse the one that is highlighted the another one is added below. Then typically, before you realized what happened, you may want to collapse again, and a third one will be created.... If I delete the highlighted one or scroll to another IF Else with the keyboard they can be deleted...

Very quickly it becomes very confusing and not very usable.

Just to be clear: it happens when I click on the IF THEN ( or DO WHILE)  icon/line to collapse its content.

I get this problem every now and then, so I avoid clicking on the triangular icons and use the keyboard arrows to expand/collapse as necessary.

Thx, yes I had seen this tip above.

I think NI should fix this, it is quite a nuisance when the scripts are growing larger. And that should not happen. It looks bad.

It feels like a bug.

I couldn't reproduce the issue, I'm using Veristand 2011 SP1 on Win 7 32 bit

which OS are you using?
