veristand UDP buffer size?

what determines how much data Veristand is going to send when subscribing to Veristand channels using Veristand .net.

I would expect it to be a setting or a rule based on the project.  i am seeing new data every 66 ms.  would like that to be longer.

there is a max_packet_size property returned from IUDPChannelStreamSession.  should that value be routed to the UDP read?  or any higher number would be good too?
