can some body explain the meaning of the matlab code

if(cluster -1>=1) for me, specially trying to connect the cluster members and the cluster head. this is from leach protocol.

Are you using any National Instruments tools such at the Matlab script node in LabVIEW? If your question is solely about Matlab, then this seems like a question better suited for the Matlab forums.
