The
Sound & Vibration Toolkit has some nice VIs already built for you. However,
you can build up some of the basic functionality yourself. The way I have got
this to work in LabVIEW SignalExpress is by creating a counter frequency step
and creating a custom scale. The custom scale is a software conversion from x
ticks to RPM. You’ll just need to do the math for your particular encoder (or
other signal source) and it should display correctly.
