Hi all,

Why stop at 100?

E-LIST issue n°51

One week to go...

139 active members last week. The activity was lower, but even during Christmas day 22 Enthusiasts were connected and 10 gave a contribution !

Over the week, the most active Enthusiasts have been CC, Tst and Ecosmose, with Altenbach and DK in semi-holidays. Ben felt to the 16th position...

Major week events : Altenbach and CC crossed the 3000 and 2000 replies lines. No new congratulation challenge in the next weeks. According to my cristal ball, the next milers, expected end of march, will be Becktho, Ed Dickens, Dennis Knutson (again), Devchander and Tst. Ben should cross the 4000 level in june, but some friendly fight with Altenbach is expected and I would rather bet on may.

I wish you the nicest new year eve !
See you in 2006 !

Another odd event could happen if you watch tst, CC and myself with # of rated answers. The three of us are just over 700 and within 26. To have three of the top five so close is very rare.

Go tst, GO!

(you too CC),

E-LIST issue n°52

Only 90 active Enthusiasts last week, but this was an expected performance since the flow of questions was very low, a large number of LV users being in holidays. This was the case for Dennis Knutson with an activity reduced to... zero !

However this apparent quietude hide the most significant event of the year : Altenbach is now number 2 before Ben, with 2826 replies against 2818.

I think it's again time for congratulations : 2005 has been a very nice year for our growing community, and there are some facts and numbers that should be remembered.

The most active Enthusiasts in 2005 have been Tst, Dennis Knutson and Altenbach with 7.06, 6.65 and 5.89 replies/day respectively. Devchander is their only future challenger. They are the leaders of a group of 388 active Enthusiasts who gave on average 0.37 reply per day. And among these Enthusiasts, 233 are NI employees who posted 39.5 % of the year 52830 replies.

The birth of the BreakPoint is also something worth commemorating. 114 Enthusiasts have exchanged 2446 posts (2.4 % of the overall activity) just for entertainment. The leader of the BreakPoint board (and related...) is CC (343 posts), thanks to the E-List threads, followed by Ben and JLV who are both number 2 with 323 posts each.

You have probably a few comments of your own to add...

Happy 2006 Year ! Keep wiring !

Congratulations Christian!

I do not think anyone is going to chase him from #2 in the foreseeable future.

And while I am at it,

Congratulations CC on slipping into #3 position re:ratings.

Between you two and tst's rapid approach, I feel like a traffic cone. Just don't run me over!

The top 10 is starting to shape up nicely. So who will be the next 5 PEV's?
