Thanks for the warm welcome. The second picture was taken during a dive into Tham Houay Say (cave of the Sand). That was an impressive exploration since the diver (you can see his back in a red suit on the picture) was obliged to go down a rope to enter the water at the bottom of a 20 m deep shaft.

All together, this year expedition has discovered and surveyed nearly 15 kilometers of new passages.

English translation of "Quand le chat n'est pas là, les souris dansent":  When the cat is away, the mice will play" (literally, dansent means dance).

Welcome back CC.  Sounds like you had an interesting adventure.  Now that you are all exhausted, you probably need a rest.

Wecome back CC! 😄

Very impressive pictures. ....Now, is that "LabVIEW everywhere" t-shirt just smoke&mirrors or does that device on the picture really run LabVIEW PDA? 😮

The device is an iPaq 4700 in an Otterbox (water and shock proof case - guess why ?). Of course, it runs LV-PDA !.. even if a few -an euphemism- bugs limit strongly -another euphemism- its usability... Fortunately, that was not the only NI system in use : a Powerbook (that's something for UrsL...), running a dedicated LV 7.1 application was used for the survey daily synthesis.

I don't remember if this is the highest activity ever recorded, but it's definitely a really high score. You are real Champions !
And the leaders are
smercurio, Rui Liang and Dennis.

Of course, the main significant new is that Khalid just became the 17th Miler. Welcome to the club !
Ben is close to become a double Enthusiast...and I still have to congratulate rolfk and tst for their recent achievements... ho dear, I wish I have more time to spend with you... 😞
