"Not true, Not true" (Graham Chapman). First of all, the problem is not in excel. Excel doesn't automatically insert CRs. Some of the headers just have them [like Attachments
CR (%)]. Second, I don't think I can just search for the first numeric instance, because that would be the date, and I can't search for Dennis's number because that could (at least theoretically) change, and such a... hmm... uhh.. planned and well thought out program should work with no problems forever (Maybe we should call that "the CC bug").
However, in order to keep the peace, I looked into the file and saw that excel saves them as LFs, so I'm attaching a small modification to the read text from spreadsheet file VI which should fix this. It's not perfect, but it works.
And you could also spend some more time to make data importation easier. I could not append the new LIST data to your file, even after removing the headers... The problem is now known by the community as
...tst bug...
No one said anything about removing the headers. The headers should stay. They are used to determine where each column should go. The only catch is that they all need to be IN THE FIRST LINE. Unless you change the file's structure again, there shouldn't be any problem - the columns to save are loaded from the dat file.
And besides, if it's hard to write, it should be hard to use.
