LabVIEW reset of FP-QUAD-510

Hi all,

I've got a FP-QUAD-510 running through the FP-1000 RS-232 interface. I can read the counter but haven't as yet figured out how to reset the counter via LabVIEW.

Any hints.

Thanks in advance

In FieldPoint Explorer, you should right click on the FP-QUAD-510 @x and choose Edit This Device, then click on Channel Configuration. In the lower right corner is a box titled Channel Commands, click on the Create Item button to create a channel named "Control @Ch0". If you press OK twice, you will now see a new item named "Control @Ch0". Anytime you write a "1" to the channel, it will reset Axis 0. Write a "0" for a no-operation.

If you are using the FieldPoint Optomux VI's instead of the regular FieldPoint VI's, use the !n, Execute Channel Command.

Excellent solution, now how about the same setup using MAX 3.0 and FP 4.0. I get a message...
'One or more attributes either do not exist or do not support the specified setting'
