Need to communicate between computer running Windows 2000 & labview 5.1 & a UMAC 1050 serial board and examples? Hard drive crashed!

I have a computer running Windows 2000 on it. Had windows 5.1 loaded on it and was communicating via RS232 out serial port to a UMAC 1050 board to collect/transmitt analog and digital signals. Hard drive crashed and have installed new one. No backups and trying to restore computer. Reinstalled labview from disk but can't get Umac to talk. Any drivers needed or sample programs to test it?

Hi Laurie,

The LabVIEW installer should install all the necesssary drivers.

What serial VIs are you using? (VISA or the "direct" serial).

What is the error code you are getting? or what is the behavior you are seeing?.
