I have this situation that is not causing any problems but it is curious why it exists. I am working with a new HP work laptop with Win 7 & 64 bit. I have installed the 2010 Development suite. In looking a the Measurement & Automation Explorer it lists a PCI-4472 device that I know does not exist in the system. Also, I can't delete it from MAX.
Anyone seen this before? How can I delete this non-existing device from MAX?

Hi,
This issue has been seen before, if you are running DAQmx version 9.1.0 through 9.2.1 you may need to install a patch that addresses the issue where certain third-party devices such as mice and keyboards appear in Measurement & Automation Explorer.

Ok, I'll update to MAX 9.2.3 which seems to be the latest version. P.S. The download page lists its release date as December 2011

Hey Bob
If the patch didn't work you may try downloading the latest version of the DAQmx driver if it is an option.
You can find the latest version at ni.com/drivers. Also, here is a link to NI-DAQmx 9.4.
Alternatively if it is an option, you may try using a different type of mouse/keyboard.
