Hi,

I'm sending to you some tutorials about TCP/IP using VISA:

Hi luciano,

I can't find any commands to send and get's answer for this instrument control, I don't have documentation about the protocol that I need for the Instrument control by Ethernet/IP.

I would like that somebody to have a documentation of the protocol of this or where I can research this.

Thank you

Hi Kelbert,

I'm sending to you a link that talk about Ethernet/IP in LabVIEW.

In this link you can find another link to download the Ethernet/IP Driver and VIs. When you install it, it comes with a great documentation about how to use the Ethernet/IP.

https://www.ni.com/en/shop/seamlessly-connect-to-third-party-devices-and-supervisory-system.html

Let me know if you have any question.

Regards.

Hi there,

It`s good a link that you send me about Ethernet/IP in LabVIEW.

I have tried 2 ways:

One fo them that I tried with a llb modbus ethernet, but I guess the problem that I don`t know with which is the start adress I need to put it out I don`t have any documentation or imformation of controller that I have here.

The another one I tried with configure modbus I/O server, but there are some probleml.

Check it out the add attachments.

Best Regards

Hi,

This problem usually occur when the address is not right. Don't you have any information about the address for your device?

Hi Luciano,

I don`t any information about it. I have tried to contact the supplier but I didn`t have a success.

About the problem that I posted I guess I can`t use the procotol with Modbus Ethernet because my deveice is Ethernet/IP and I can`t do with the llb Modbus, I think so.

Best Regards

Te envio dos enlaces.

Uno es una introdución al Modbus y el otro tiene una library de Modbus para el LabVIEW:

I have tried to contact the Technical Support about the Temperature Control of west, but  they don`t have information about Ethernet/IP protocol.

I decided to change the Ethernet/IP to Modbus RTU, and I have already done without problem.

Thank`s for help!
