What is the maximum cable length for GPIB

I am using a USB to GPIB converter. The GPIB needs to extend an additional 100'.

This are the cable specs for GPIB:

- 20 meters maximum bus length.
- 4 meters maximum distance between devices.
- 2 meters average distance between devices.

Some of theses sound kind of weird, but those are the specifications listed in the standard.

If you are interested in extending the distance between the PC and the GPIB bus, it'll be probably easier to extend the USB bus. You can use any off-the-shelf devices or cable to extend the USB bus.
