profibus and IFM-controller

We have a new fermenter with profibus port.

it's has an USB-RS485 converter(PC) cable.

I want to edit a subvi in labview 2012.

where can I find the driver or examples?

We only have a driver for our profibus hardware, we can't talk straight to an RS485 port. http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/204266

The profibus protocol uses the rs485 bus but a protocol that is quite complex and best can be supported by special hardware.

So don't try to save some bucks and generate a slow sometimes working protocol that costs a lot of time.
