So I was looking at this VI here And was hovering over one of the missing VIs (no drivers installed here).
100% Reproducible, tried 4 times. Ouch! Same for all other missing VIs I tried.

I cannot reproduce the crash in LabVIEW 2025 Q1 Patch 1 64-bit. The Context Help window displays properly with the missing VI information in both the scenarios you describe.

This is the beta forum and I am running 2025 Q3 (64bit), 25.3d.186
I would assume this is a new bug, else it would have been reported long ago (guessing).

Hah, sorry for the noise, I thought I was in another forum.
Although I did try the same experiment in the latest beta install (25.3d350 64-bit), and I was unable to see the crash there either.

Thanks. NIPM does not show any updates. Do you have an internal version or can I get it by redownloading?

It's an internal version. I don't think there will be another beta release before the public release, but @Christina_R would know for sure.

So the good news is that they probably fixed it already. 😄

I can confirm this behavior on my beta VM (25.3d.186), so it isn't just your install, at least. Good to know it doesn't happen in NI's latest version.

I verified that this Bug was introduced in an earlier build of LabVIEW 2025 Q3, and has already been reported internally and fixed. The Bug number is 3079400.
