Hi Oesen,
so we will read the specs aloud together:
Data rate range using internal master timebase: Minimum 1.613 kS/s, Maximum 50 kS/s.
The data rate must remain within the appropriate data rate range.
Please repeat those sentences!

So my sampling rate can't be below 1613 ?

Hi Oesen,
so we will read the specs together again:
Data rate range using external master timebase: Minimum 391 S/s, maximum 51.36 kS/s.
Why do we have to repeatedly read that specs together? Aren't you able to do this on your own? Or even call the NI support and talk with them about that problem?
Doh...

Hi GerdW
The problem is that those values don't make any sense, when i use them in my VI. I have changed the Vex Source to External and changed both my rate and number of samplings to 391, and i don't still get 1 measurement every second.

Hi Oesen,
what's your external master timebase?
Let's read the specs together:
Data rate (fs) = fm / 256 / n, with n as integer in the range of 1..31
Please provide all information needed to answer your questions. And RTFM!

Sorry if i'm being annoying.
I'm using a external Vex Source and my minimum sample rate can be 391 S/s
I know that the goal for this formula is to show the data range with using the integers from 1 to 31.
31 gives the minimum value, and it gives the sample rate 391 S/s yes, but the maximum frequency timebase is the only unknown value in this formula. Should i find this one ?. Is there a relationship between "number og samples" and f.m ?

Do i have the opportunity to swtich from Internal to External. If yes, how do i do that ?

In the DAQmx you have that option in advanced timing.
