I posted this thread just a few hours ago.

Didn't realize there was a specific thread for "Save for Previous".

Maybe that was why i didn't get any response.... Smiley Indifferent

Hi, I've an old Omega DAQP-12 whitch I like to use as a start getting more basic practice programming Labview. Unfortunally all the examples and libraries are created in version 5.01. I wonder if someone could help me to convert them into version 8.5.

Thanks in advance. John

That is an upconvert what you have requested for and not a down convert. That is a lot of vi for conversion. Lemme try.

I tried several times, and LabVIEW crashed each time. It appears to have problems backsaving the VI that uses that DLL. Perhaps if you posted the DLL it might not crash. Though I think it would probably be easier to simply go back to a backup. Which you have, right?

Hi John,

I mass compiled your folder of VIs to LabVIEW7.1. Some warning messages popped up, so check for errors!

Best regards,

Well thanks for trying. I managed someway to get the dll backsaved to 8.2 without labview crashing. But checking the VI afterwards showed that there was alot of work to be done fixing it. I guess backsaving further will render the complete VI useless. So i have to rewrite it i guess.

Backup?!, Who said backup...... Real men don't take backup........(Real men cry, thoughSmiley Sad )

Anyway,  smercurio_fc, thanks again for your effort.
