Hello there.
I'm setting for first time a SCXI 1001 chassis with several modules, 3 of them 1502 with their 1314 terminal blocks. I've used this chassis before to read some temperatures and worked fine, so I'm pretty sure the problem is me.
I get this error 200320 about simultaneous sample and hold when trying to aquire strain data, but I think the configuration is fine. I'm still pretty new on LabView and have tried checking the setup both by the Data Aquisition Express module and by MAX; but I get same result.
Please help me to set this up as soon as posible, I need your knowledge.
Thanks,
usuario

Hi Graham,
one of my problems is that I'm too new in LabView. I haven't assisted to any courses and have to learn by myself. I just read that article before posting this question.
I still don't know exactly what exactly is a task; neither how to create channels in LabView and how to specify the aquisiton conditions, and so, I'm limited to using the DaqAssistant Express Module. I can't find where can I change this setting there.
I used to aquire using DasyLab before, and I'm still fighting to make myself to LabView.
Thanks,
Usuario

I am finally able to aquire the signal from the gauge. I've taken one the LabView examples and changed it a little. But I have a new problem now. I attach the .vi.
How do I tell the system to perform the shunt calibration?
Thanks,
usuario

The latest links explains what a virtual global channel and a task are.
As regards shunt calibration, you can read the following links:
