I have a test system that reboots a LV6.1 application .exe on a W98SP2 based CPU (can not run anything more current) every 5 minutes. I got this error after running problem free for nearly 20hrs on one of two test machines. Notice in 1st attachment that the app .exe loaded but contains only an empty frame - no front panel contents. The 2nd attachments shows the error msg and a sub window behind it that show the last vi loaded was '3 sn array to LCD format.vi'. I don't think it is related since it is built with no front panel and I'm assuming the render.cpp error is graphics related.
What is render.ccp? I trying to understand the root cause and not just a fix or work-around.
The render.cpp error has only been reported a couple of times and each time it appeared that one of LabVIEW's support files had become corrupt. Fortunately this is an easy issue to resolve by uninstalling LabVIEW and then reinstalling it on the computer that is exhibiting the behavior.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the procedure of reinstalling or if it does not resolve the issue.
Thanks for the reply. We have rebooted the system and resumed testing. The error has not reoccured, still running a few days after one and only incident.
