How can I change the Picture Item of the Boolean programmatically?

A very simple question.

I can change any picture item for boolean control (pressed, hover, etc):

The question is: - how to do this programmatically (in RunTime)?

Is there simple way to do this?

I think it's not possible, but you can use picture ring for this.

you can't you could bypass (some of the issues) with my Boolean XControl.
Check my demo code, showing a lot of icons for one boolean control.
