How do i highlight a portion of a waveform graph? For instance, the area under the curve.

I want my waveform to remain its orginal color, but at the same time I would like the area under the curve or the area between the cursors to highlight or change to a different color. Any ideas?

Create a second plot with only the data you want and change the plot type.
