Is it possible to receive data via RJ-45 like how data is received via RS-232?

I can understand the pressure you are under. LabVIEW is marketed (and rightly so) as a programming language that is easier to learn than the traditional text based languages. Easier is a relative term though and just like C++, VB, etc., there is a learning curve that can be pretty steep.

Keep plugging away and keep posting with your problems.

I think I gave you some bad advice about only reading the file once. For a simple fix, put the Read From Spreadsheet inside the while loop like the original RS-232 example.

Hi Simmy,

you can use the "array to spreadsheet string" function. You only need to send your data once each interation. Smiley Happy

Hi Simmy,

See the attached example. It do the same, but without TCP/IP and it works like i expect it.

it will work when i do it this way(refer to attachment), but it still does not run the spreadsheet constantly, i need it to keep repeating the whole process over and over again... until i decide to stop this program...

Hi Simmy,

your picture shows not the same. Smiley Happy Right click on your tunnel element on the loop and select "disable autoindexing".
