Mouse Cursor Bug over vertical Scrollbar in a String Control & Indicator

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello All,

Working with LabVIEW 2017 f2 on Windows 7 I experience the following problem:

When I move the mouse cursor in a string control or indicator with visible scrollbar from the text area over to the scrollbar, the mouse cursor doesn't change from the text-Cursor to the expected Arrow. When coming from outside the controls area to the scrollbar it remains the arrow until the cursor enters the text area.

I do not see this with LabVIEW 2015.

Is this reproducable by you?

Yes, reproducible. Same for horizontal scrollbar.

There seems to be a small difference between run time and edit time (although could be coincidence):

Run time: cursor will not change when entering scrollbar.

Edit time: cursor is set to text edit icon when entering scrollbar.

Happens with all strings: Modern, Classic, System...
