NDCI metrics and Veritool (VI.vitst)

I came across a formula for Labor (hrs) that is based primarily on NDCI (Nodes/Diagrams/Controls/Indicators).  Even though calculating/keeping these metrics is challenge enough, I'm trying to throw in one more variable.  Has anyone out there used the Veritool (VI.vitst) that provides the developer the ability to create test vectors (test cases) that exercise a VI in a formal method.  I'm trying to determine how to gather metrics (maybe per vector) that can be added to the NDCI for a VI to come up with a total NDCI (or something else).  Basically, I would like to ultimately have some historical data that says here is a VI, it is an instrument driver with medium complexity, that required 700 NDCI to develop.  Along with this 700 NDCI is another ? NDCI associated with the test vectors.

Also, keep in mind that the VI Analyzer tools may give you some of the information you are looking to find.
