Hello,
when trying to sign in to the Nigel™ AI application, I receive the following error message: "You are not authorized to connect to the Nigel AI. Please contact your administrator." The LabView is registerred and activated, but access to Nigel appears to be blocked.
Could you please advise me on the next steps?

Nigel is only included in LabVIEW professional and higher. Not in "Base" of "Full" (details). What edition do you have?

Access to Nigel requires not only LabVIEW Professional but also having an ni.com account with the entitlement. Reference: How to Access, Activate, and Troubleshoot Nigel for LabVIEW and Teststand - NI

I have installed LabVIEW for Academic Use AVL, Perpetual license.

Ok, thanks for the explanation.
So, if I'm not a technical contact, I cannot use the Nigel which is by default installed in my PC with LabView...

Interestingly I get exactly the same error and I cannot get a good answer out of NI support. I have the partner program software and I'm the only developer so I should be registered as the end user but I have no way of seeing that I am actually the end user. in my account with my name it shows the software registered to me so I assume I am the end user. But should there be a flag that actually says the words 'end user'? Thanks !

I reached out to our Academic team, and NI's intent is that our academic customers should have access to Nigel AI, but there are technical issues with how our licenses currently work that prevent automating access.
Please refer to Technical Support Access for Academic Volume Licenses (AVL) - NI. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the current solution is that getting technical support access will also enable you to login to Nigel. We are working on addressing this issue in a future release.
