Printing front panel comes out blank

Hi,
I am running labview 8.2 with windows xp. On a vi I want to print the front panel (this vi just contains 3 tables), however whenever i go to file>print> and try to print either complete or just the visible part it always comes out blank. When i try printing to a rtf file it has the 3 tables exactly as i want. i have tried printing to two different printers. Also if i try to just print a simple text box it works fine.  I have tried from both the tool bar and programming it to print with the easy print vi panel, and neither one works.
Any suggestions?

Thanks
Andy

Here is a copy of my vi. can anyone print this? You don't even have to run it, just print the front panel.

Print Preview looked OK, but all I got was a sheet of grey paper. I added a control of my own and output was still all grey.

Hello Andrew,

You are definitely not crazy as I could not get the front panel to print at first either.  It seems like the file may be corrupt, as I can print many other VI front panels.

After changing the indicator to a control and then back, it seems to work fine.  You may want to try recreating this VI.

Ok, it's back again. I was able to pull out the code and make a new vi and it printed fine. when i put this vi back into my main program it printed blank gray screens.

Hey Andrew,

It looks like that main VI may need to be recreated also - that could be where the corruption is originating.  If this continues, you may want to try repairing LabVIEW (go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Change National Instruments Software > Repair) or mass compiling.

Happy Holidays!
