The VI is not executable. The full development version...

I had the same problem, I did a recompile of all VIs in the project, re-created the EXE, done.

I have the same problem. I created an installer and .exe from a fairly simple vi, and used to install on a laptop.

Have done all suggested fixes (e.g. install updated .net, re compiled executable, etc) to no avail. The front panel shows up overlayed with the message â€œThe VI is not executable. The full development version of Labview is required to fix the errors. “ repeated many times, and the run arrow is broken on the target machine. I must install a running version of this .exe on several laptops for distribution very soon.

Op system           Windows 7 SP1  (development and target)

.Net version         4.0

LV                          2013

Thanks.

That helped a lot. Windows 10 by default has NET 3.5 disabled. Enableing it made all work perfectly.

Have you tried to install .NET 3.5 on your deployment machines? I think with 2013 you will need that version. .NET 4.0 alone isn't sufficient.

Sorry this wasn't for developmental/deployment purposes. There is a friend that has a diagnostics software tool for marine engines that was created with NI's LabVIEW software.

He got a new machine and was having issues running it and was recieveing the same error as in the thread title. Candan mentioned NET 3.5 and as soon as I enabled that it started working just fine.

Sorry I kinda resurrected this thread as his comment was from June.

Just adding that enabling .NET Framework 3.5 fixed my instance of this problem.
