Hello - I am trying to record pressure histories from different locations on a gas-driven shock tube. I currently use the DAQ assistant to trigger acquisition of the pressures at the shock tube exit. However, I need to begin collecting burst pressures in the driver chamber. I am interested in triggering analog data acqusition using a falling trigger slope off of the higher driver chamber (using some pretrigger points in order to capture the burst pressure of the driver chamber) and recording the pressures at the exit of the shock tube, about four feet away. The post trigger recording would need to be for about 30ms to capture all the behavior of the event. I am using a PCI-e6351 DAQ card.
Does anyone have some suggestions?

This should be of some help to get you started. Basically this example monitors an analogue signal and once it reaches a certain level it will generate a trigger.
