Using labView 2009, I compared 2 vi's. Under added/replaced/deleted, a majority of the wires and many terminals are highlighted, although they look identical. I unchecked cosmetic changes so I am unsure why identical looking items are being highlighted.

thanks,

Hey JVH,

Are these wires and terminals being highlighted even after you unchecked 'Cosmetic Changes?' Even though the two block diagrams look identical, it is possible that they are off just slightly; so they essentially look identical, but aren't. This tools will pick up on very small differences. Would it be possible to post a screen shot of your 'Compare VI' routine. Better yet, would it be possible to post the two VI's you are comparing?

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I have completed modifications, original no longer available. I had unchecked cosmetic. Had better luck after focusing on circles instead of highlighted wires.

Thanks for posting.
