insert calender in labview 8

Hi,

I have a text control for accepting a date. I would like to place a small button at the end of it, clicking upon which, a calender should appear and the user should be able to select the date from the calender, and the calender should go away. The nearest I got to wasthis:

but the calender here is very large. I dont want that.

have you tried the timestamp control available in LabVIEW (numerics palette)?
