The Real-Time module is a seperate product from the LabVIEW Development System however the files for the LabVIEW Real-Time Module should be on your LabVIEW platform DVD 1. When running the installer, choose the custom install option and be sure to choose the LabVIEW 2009 Real-Time Module. If you have a license associated with your serial number the module will activate after install.
Which LabVIEW 2009 Platform DVD Is My LabVIEW Module or Toolkit on?

It is not included in the core components Academic Site License however it is an optional addition if you have the "Control and Embedded Systems Option". If so, it will be on the DVD labeled "Controls and Embedded Systems". Check with your software administrators to see if your school has this component.
Best of luck!

Sounds like you crashed the hard drive. I hope you didn't move it while it was running. If you did, then you certainly crashed the hard drive. The only thing you can do is to replace the hard drive and re-install everything.

what do you mean by "move it"?

You said you moved the computer. Quote:

If you moved the computer while it was running, and the hard drive was being accessed, chances are you damaged the hard drive. that is why it will not boot anymore. Before moving a computer, you should shut it down. This will park the hard drive heads then power down. With the heads parked, there is little chance that the disk will be damaged. Without parking, the heads could bounce or hit the hard drive platter causing a crash.

If you have an error booting from your hard disk, then the disk is either broken or the boot software is corrupt. You don't even get your Windows OS to come up. Try re-installing your windows operating system. I would perform a disk check before installing anything.
