GPIB UD

Hello,

I've a problem with my GPIB Bus under LabWindows.

With NI SPy, i've seen when i send command like ibwrt that theUD is incremented of 2, and when it arrives at 100 there are a problem of communication.

So, i want to know if there are a patch for this problem, because i know that there are the same type of problem with testand but the patch are for the library c++.

Hello Bazardik,

Have you try to use the last version of NI-488.2 driver.
The last version is 2.4, you can download it from the link below:

Hello Bazardik,

The main problem I see in this list is it looks like you are mixing VISA and GPIB calls. 

If you want to reset his cards, have them just use the VISA Writes to reset his cards.  Is there any reason in particular why you are mixing the two?  Also, in MAX, did you scan for instruments?  Are any of your devices that viOpen is failing on recognized in MAX. 

Finally, could you actually post the .spy file.  The JPG is not very helpful in looking at the low level details.

En fait il s'agit plus d'un problème avec les commandes GPIB, du fait que j'utilise le driver GPIB et non le driver VISA sous LabWindows.

Ce problème agit de plus uniquement sous windows NT et non sous windows XP.

Sous Windows NT, l'envoie de la commande Ibdev(...) incrémmente le UD, et lorsque ce dernier atteint 99 (UD99) , l'envoie de commande est impossible pour la suite. C'est pourquoi il me semble que ce problème vient des drivers GPIB sous NT.

Divers tests on été réalisés chez nous avec windows XP avec le même matériel, et aucun problème n'est survenu avec l'UD.

Pourquoi envoyez-vous 100 ibdev pour chaque instruments?
Combien d'instruments utilisez-vous?

Combien d'UD créez-vous? Si vous créer à chaque fois un nouvel UD, vous devez le refermer en utilisant ""ibonl UD".

Pourriez-vous m'envoyer le fichier ".spy" ?
