I have a Lookout 5.0 program that has worked fine on an old computer.
I have just upgraded to a new PC running Windows XP.
Lookout is communicating with the processor but I am not getting any traces on the hypertrends.
I had an alarm regarding buffer full and I restarted Lookout.
No alarms now but no traces either.
I looked at the database folder and it seems to have the appropriate files.
I am making a new program with Lookout 6.5 for a Productivity 3000 processor.
This is not showing traces either.
I will have to switch back to the old PC tomorrow as I have to have this working by Tuesday.

You'd better check the database by MAX(Measurement Automation Explorer) first.
Open the MAX, go to Historical Data->Citadel 5 Universe, expand My Computer, and and the database. If the data is logged to database, you should see the traces there. Right click on a trace and create and view, you will get the trend view of the trace.
So, firstly let's make sure if the data is logged.
By the way, lookout 5.0 uses Citadel 4 database, however lookout 6.5 uses Citadel 5 database.

I am facing this issue too. I have DSC application deployed on a target PC,in the hypertrend the traces/trend is not visible but the datalogging into citadel does takes place, as the Y-axis of the hypertrend gets scaled as per the value logged into citadel. The Y axis has autoscaled enabled. So if the value changes the axis gets scaled but trace is not visible.

If this is a new machine and the old process was on another, verify that the hypertrend has teh correct machine name specified
