minutes idle until logoff version 6.0

Carl,
It's hard to troubleshoot your problem based on your information.
Could you try it on another machine?
Are you running a large process?  What if you try it without any process? I mean to close all process and wait for 5 minutes.

Can you try to unplug your mouse and keyboard?

Ryan:

I was out till 3PM yesterday and the "operator" was still logged in.  Today I disconnected keyboard and mouse for 5 minutes and "operator" was not logged off.  I have "operator" set up to log off at 1 minute.  Lookout is running on my computer (client) and it has 281 total points with 274 input points and 132 output points.  I did stop Excel and Outlook from running yesterday and it still did not logout "operator"  We have a server and client hook up in the other room and I will try to do this on the server.

Ryan:

Got it to sign off "operator" on all three machines.  The problem had something to do with time sync in lookout.  On the server time and date on lookout screen was 2/7 23:48.  I went to windows to change time and it was set at 11:48.  I went to time sync on lookout deleted server reference on both clients and then added again and time showed up correct on the displays.  Then Server and Clients signed out "operator" and log on with "(nobody)" at the 1 minute I had set it at.  I guess that when I set up the time sync I had something set up wrong.  Now I just have the clients pointing to the Server.  Thanks for you help

I checked the server and noticed that on lookout screen it had 2/8 23:48.  I went to change time, but the time was set at 11:48.  The other client had the same information on lookout.  I went to time sync on lookout menu and removed the settings to look at the server and reset the client to look at the server.  When I did that the time on the Lookout screen went to 11:48 and the server showed 11:48.  I logged in to the "operator" account and in one minute it logged out "operator" and logged in "(nobody)".  I must have set something wrong in the time sync window in lookout.  The two client computers and Server now work the way Lookout says they do.  Thanks so much for your help in resolving this problem.

I´m having the same problem. My user won´t log off when I´m watching the Lookout screen. Whenever I switch to another aplication and the specified log off time passes, then the user logs off as it should; but, I repeat, this doesn´t happen when I´m in Lookout!!!

It doesn´t seem to be a time sync issue, since all my client pc´s have the same time as the server. Does anybody know what the problem could be? I tried unpluging both the keyboard and mouse.

Hope to get an answer.

Luciano.
