Hi Panmanas,

The reason you have a broken wire is that you have attached two different data types.  The data type of your indicator is a Double (float 64) and the data type in the wire is a Dynamic Data Type, which is used to pass live data with time information.  You can use the Convert From Dynamic Data Express VI to correct the problem in your code.  If you will be developing in LabVIEW in the future at all, you might try checking out the following links:

We opened your code but suddenly we imedietely saw a broken wire. We attached file for you to see too.
We dont know what was wrong. We use Labview version 8.0 with license.

We tried to solve the problem by using Convert from Dynamic Data Express VI as Wes P recommended. But still the wire is broken.

We have less basic knowledge. That is why we ask you very often.

When we bought LABVIEW, we asked the dealer to train us for specific course especially for our application but they could not accept it.

I think it is because our application is unique. So they help us to ask from ASEAN NI support and to this NI Discussion forums.

We found that by this way we can get solutions correct and imediately.
