Is it possible to run VBAI 3.6 on Windows XP Embedded?

It's possible. But it depends on the configuration of XPe.
XP Embedded is a customizable OS, and you can choose the components to include when you build the XPe image.
So it all depends if the image of XPe you're running has all the components necessary to run Vision Builder.
The easiest answer is to give it a try. i.e. install it and see if it launches. If it doesn't it usually misses some dlls and it should not be too difficult to figure out which component is missing and add it to your XPe image.
Unfortunately, I do not have a list of the required components...
I apologize for the imcomplete response.

Then i will highly appreciate if someone could list down the components required for the subject because i already tried and it does not go past the initial splash screen.

Do you see a search dialog showing with dll is missing?

Thanks for your response ChristopheC. No it just freezes there, and then we have to close it via Task Manager. No messages.

Do you have any control of the XPe image? Are you the one building it or are you using an image provided by the manufacturer of the device over which you don't have any control of?

I dont have the control, it is provided by the manufacturer.
