How do I scale the FP-TC-120 using visual basic

I'm using Visual Basic 6.0, FP-1000 and the FP-TC-120 to read thermocouples. I'm unable to get the actual temperature value using the thermoelectric voltage to temperature conversion equation. Does the TC-120 use a different scale to convert voltage to temperature?

You can select the thermocouple type in Fieldpoint Explorer and the necessary scaling. This would be the most preferable way to convert the raw voltage to a temperature. You can do this by editing the channel configuration on the module in Fieldpoint Explorer. Once the scaling is done, all you would need to do is access the scaled value.
