Visual C++ hangs at startup

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. I have measurement studio 7.0 installed with my vc++ .NET 2003. Currently my visual c++ hangs when I open up my project. This happened in two computers already.

The problem did not begin right away. It was fine the first couple weeks. After that my project began to hang at startup, but through many times of ctrl/alt/delete it eventually loads up my project. Finally, my project just ended up not opening at all, and begins to hang at startup.

At first I asked microsoft to see what the problem was and they did not know the cause. I figured it was my code, but then I installed on other computers, and it opened fine. Now I am wondering if it is because of measurement studio. If anyone has experienced this problem before, then please let me know. Thanks everyone!

We should be able to determine whether the problem is Measurement Studio or not. In Visual Studio, go to Tools>>Add-in Manager. Uncheck Startup next to Measurement Studio Add-in. Restart Visual Studio. Open your project. If the hang does not occur, then Measurement Studio is the culprit. If this is the case, please .zip up your project (if you can) and attach it to a response so that we can try to reproduce the problem.
