Is NI 9265 compatible with NI cDAQmx 9172?

Hi,

I am not sure if the NI 9265 will not work with NI cDAQmx 9172? As far as I read about them on NI, it seems to me that the both should work together as NI 9265 is compatible with both cRIO and cDAQ. Please help and clarify.

I though of just putting it here, if you are reading it, please clarify or I might give you a call. It's not so urgent for now but in near future I see us buying one more 9265 or 9264. However, 9264 is costly!!

Thanks for your post! The NI-9265 will work for both NI-Cdaq and NI-Crio Chassis. You can find this on the overview section of the 9265 page.

Hi Corby_B, thanks.

I just wanted to be sure before I put a PO for it. I talked to NI support and they told me that it won't work as my DAQ is not RIO supported. Anyhow, what you are saying is perfectly making sense and it should work and yes, it is written/specified in 9265  manual too.
