Hello afaan,

"Upon building an MSI consisting of Labview7.1 installation, the PCI 6024E DAQ card loses its driver. (Upon reboot after running the MSI)"
Are you saying that after installing LabVIEW 7.1 you no longer have access to the NI-DAQ VIs? The reason for this is that your DAQ installation has not had a chance to install support for this newer version of LabVIEW. You will need to either modify your installation (go to Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs >> NI Software, select NI-DAQ then click Modify) or reinstall DAQ. What version of NI-DAQ do you have installed? If you don't have 7.4, I suggest downloading and installing it from: http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/90B60D5899BCCCDB86256FC700581B89?opendocument&node=132070_US .

When going through the installer you will see a screen which says "Include Support for...". Make sure that LabVIEW 7.1 is listed.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Sean C.
