linux,C, and AT-MIO-16X

I typically use Measurement Studio and VB6 to develop apps but need to start using our AT-MIO16X cards in a Linux (Redhat 8 in particular) C program. I would like to know how to do this? I searched the NI site and see an open source library called "comedi" but my card is not listed.

Q1: Does NI have software libraries I can use to write a C program in Linux with this card?
Q2: Do old versions of NI-DAQ support C under Linux?

Hello;

In case you didn't see that particular device listed on Comedi site you will need to do a register level application to communicate with the board. Old versions of NI-DAQ doesn't support that in Linux either.

You can find good information about RLP at www.ni.com. To get all links to documentation about RLP, just type +register +level in the search field.

Hope this helps.
