Hi,
We need to collect 8 channels of AI input at about 32KS/s but they need to be accurately synchronized. We are thinking to use 2 CDAQ-9215 modules mounted on a CDAQ-9174 chassis. Can this system do the job? And what type of timing and clock configuration should I use to improve synchronization accuracy.
Thanks.

The CompactDAQ chassis is multiplexed so that isn't really a good solution for you. Our new X series 636x cards can do simultaneous sampling but if you only need to go 32ks/s I would recommend this as the lowest cost.

Hello,
I apologize I did not realize the 9215 was a simultaneous module. Instead of the S series card you should be good to go with a 9174 and 2 9215 modules. If you use the same DAQmx task to run the acquisition on all 8 channels they will all share the same timing engine and sample simultaneously.
