Hi,
I have started recently Multisim, I have One problem. I am designing One circuit that clips negative cycle of sine wave for that purpose I am using switch (Voltage controlled switch). One input of switch is sinewave and I am controlling switch using pulse signal. When the pulse Voltage is 2.5V then switch has to close and allow the sine signal. When pulse Voltage is zero or less than zero then switch has to open and block the negative cycle of sinewave. I have designed this circuit in Multisim, the switch is working but I am getting sinewave at all the time even When switch is open. I want to get sinewave positive cycle When switch is closed and no signal When switch is open. Can any One help me what mistake I am doing. Please have a look at my attached circuit and help me where I am doing mistake.
Thanks in advance.

Hi biji007,
I was able to get the simulation working properly by increasing the Voff Resistance and changing the switching level from 2.5 to 2.6 V. I think that at 2.5, it was too close to the threshold and was just letting the signal through. You can set this level a bit higher to insure you do not run into this issue.
FYI, your frequency in the AC Source is much higher than the control source which is why you are not seeing just the negative part of the signal cut-off. Change the frequency of the AC Source to 500 Hz and analyze the results.
Hope this helps.
