distinguishing when to use off-page vs global connector

Solved!

New to Multi-sim -

Is there a tutorial for the intended purpose of using off-page connectors and not global?

1.  Suppose nets need to be connected to a number of sheets, should global connectors be used or should off-page connectors of same name be used.  What the intent of the two?

2.  Can global connectors be connected to buses for linking to sheets? or should an off-page connector be connected to a bus?

An explanation should be entered into HELP, and perhaps a tutorial.

Thanks

Hi johnkimura,

In the help file, you can search for connector types and you will find the help documentation about the connectors. The difference between an off page and a global connector is that an off page connector is only visible on the same level in the hierarchy. What this means is that if you are in one sub-circuit, you can use an off page connector to connect to another sub-circuit at the same level.

For Bus lines, you need to use the bus off page connector.

Hope this helps.
