modifying XML TestStand report

Hi

I want to do some changes in the XML report header for TestStand:

A. chnage the time format from 12h to 24H.

B. insert  some more rows to the header of the report (e.g. SW version: xxx ; HW version: xxx)\

could anyone help with this? I tried to get it from the manuals but did not succed

Hi Yair,

Unfortunately, modifying the XML report is a little trickier than modify the ASCII and HTML reports.  The XML report is based on a a stylesheet which makes it easier to view.  You will need to modify the XML stylesheet included with TestStand to reflect any changes.  This can be somewhat difficult especially if you are not very familiar with XML.  Here is an example of modifying the XML stylesheet to include extra information.  You can take a look at this example and see if you can base your stylesheet off these changes. 

Honestly, if you are not very familiar with XML, I would suggest considering changing to another format (HTML or ASCII) as these formats are much easier to modify and can be done within sequence callbacks.  If you are interested in changing formats, I can help you change these callbacks to refelct your desired changes.
