Multiple Alias name for a device

My co-worker used model# as alias for all NI PXIe devices.  For backward compatible reason, we stuck with these alias names now.   I want to use a more meaningful name like DMM, Scope, AWG, etc. in my VIs.

It would be nice to be able to set multiple alias names for a device.

NI scope Trigger

Problem: If you want to acquire data with a measuring loop you have to send a trigger in each of the loops. I became this problem because I wanted to measure over a long period.

 

Possible Solution: Decouple the Trigger from the Fetch Measurment. So the programm waits on the trigger at the configuration on the trigger.

Put Sweep Button back into RFSG SFP for 5840 VST

Can you please re-enable the "Sweep" and "Pulse" buttons in the RFSG SFP when it sees a PXIe-5840 VST?
