Good day,

my PXIe-1071 power led as turned steady red and the pxi does not start. I discovered that for other devices this code means that the main fan is broken, could this be the same case?

Hi Francesco,
according to the NI PXIe-1071 User Manual,

The chassis power inhibit switch has an integrated LED.

[...]

If the inhibit switch LED is red, the system fan has failed, and the chassis has shut down to protect modules from damage due to insufficient cooling.
