using impact hammer instead of accelometer

I want to use impact hammer with PXI 4496 but no connection function on MAX to define task. It means that what should define as measurement unit while acquiring data with impact hammer.

In addition i think that if i define task as accelometer measurement  for impact hammer it will being work. But  at the same time i know that a paremeter or transformation factor will be defined for conversion while measuring.  Is it possible ?

Shortly can i ask how i can use impact hammer while no defination on MAX
