Hello,
I'm curious to know what operating system the QSI panel is running, and
how you're communicating between the two. Normally when creating
HMI's for a cRIO system, we would use the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module to
create an application that runs on a Windows CE device that can
communicate with the cRIO over shared variables. Regardless of
the hardware being used, an application on the touchscreen computer
would need to be created. If you're having trouble developing the
HMI application with QSI's Qlarity environment, they may be able to
offer more detailed help than I can on that side. It is possible
to create an application on the cRIO RT controller that listens for
commands coming in over a TCP/IP connection to your touchscreen.
I'd like to know also how you set up the communication bewteen LabVIEW
for Windows and the touch screen - knowing what we're working with will
make it much easier to discover where the problem may lie.
Cheers,
Matt Pollock
